Driving through spokane on a roadtrip and decided to stop here. Blown away by the quality of the food and the great vibe here. The minute we walked in: the blue booths, great music, cool locals, friendly cooks greeting us - we knew we were in the right place. The person who took our order was so fun and helpful and gave us great reccos. The coconut breaded chicken, cucumber salad and garlic rice was my favourite. Also the dumplings were fire. There was a lot of variety in the dishes and the portions were really big and came in reusable microwavable containers so we could take our leftovers easily. So sad we don’t live in spokane and can’t return on a weekly basis.

The coconut rice is a standout, light and fluffy with just a hint of sweetness, while the grilled vegetables provide a smoky char that balances out the richness of the meats. Grabbed some Smackin' Sesame, Chicken Teri, Fried Spam (Island Style), Lumpia and Kelaguen Chicken with homemade Finadene Suace last night for dinner. Let me tell you about authentic and delicious. It's so good you just want to roll around in it! There, I said it!
Really excellent Pacific island restaurant. Awesome coconut fried chicken I had and they have a menu that makes it very difficult to choose what to eat! I'll be back!! Very clean interior and they even had special sauces at the self serve counter.
First time in Spokane, researched for a while for a spot and selected this place. So glad I did - great food, great employees and service. Excited for this to be my go to spot every time I come back to Spokane.
Visited Island Style Food for the first time tonight, but it won't be the last! Really yummy food and very friendly service. My favorite was the pork lumpia!
I am so glad I just discovered this little Hawaiian Gem amongst the restaurants of spokane and I strongly recommend it from the start. The dining area is clean, doesn't smell bad. The variety of the menu is very attractive and the sides complement the main entrees very well. The Fried Lechon with Garlic Rice...Fire; The Katsu Chicken with Grilled Pineapple and Mango Rice...FIRE; The Ebu Ice Cream... Double FIRE... basically you can't go wrong with anything you order
I am the show runner for a tv show that travels all around the US and I have to please a group of 20. This was by far the most universally loved crew meal of the season. Definitely stop by if you love fresh quality food with great flavor.
This place is AMAZING! The lumpia, beef noodles, pork belly with rice, chicken teriyaki...literally every single thing that comes out of their kitchen is outstanding and a work of passion! Their staff is always so kind and helpful, give great suggestions and seem so genuinely happy that you're there! Spokane is so much better for this place being available to us, and for the obvious love that goes in to everything that they do! If you haven't been there, you need to fix that. Your life will change!
